What “everything” means
There is no feature tier. A one-chair barbershop gets the same colour records, the same deposit settings and the same Xero sync as a six-stylist salon — it just pays for one seat instead of six.
Who needs a seat
A seat is for a stylist who needs their own login: their own calendar, their own client notes, their own takings. A stylist who only needs to be bookable does not need one. Add and remove seats as the team changes — the bill follows the team, not the other way round.
Text messages are the one metered thing
Reminders by email are unmetered. Text and WhatsApp reminders run on message credits, because each one costs a carrier fee — a credit is only taken once the carrier has accepted the message, and it goes back if the send fails. You can turn either channel off and run reminders on email alone.
Questions about the bill
What happens at the end of the 30 days?
Nothing is charged unless you add billing. There is no card on file during the trial, so it cannot quietly become a subscription.
Do I pay for a stylist who has left?
Only until you remove their seat. Seats are not an annual commitment — a summer junior can have one for the summer.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. An annual plan pays for ten months instead of twelve, so two months are free.
What does a text message cost?
Text and WhatsApp reminders use message credits, priced by where the message is going, because carriers charge different rates by country. Email reminders are not metered, so you can run the whole thing on email instead.
Are card processing fees included?
Payment processing fees are charged separately by your chosen provider. Deposits and checkouts run through your own Stripe, PayPal, Braintree or Airwallex account.
