ROXROXSalon
Reminders

Reminders by text, WhatsApp or email.

A confirmation when they book, a reminder before they arrive, in the language the appointment was made in.

Three channels, one reminder

The same reminder goes out by WhatsApp where both you and the client have chosen it, by text where you have not, and by email alongside either. You are not maintaining three sets of wording — you are choosing which carrier a client hears from.

Consent is per channel, per client

A client can agree to reminders and refuse marketing, or take texts and not WhatsApp. Those are separate permissions on the record and the reminder worker honours every one of them, which is what keeps you the right side of the rules that govern this.

In their language, not yours

Reminders are composed from templates in the client's language rather than machine-translated at send time, so a Portuguese client gets a sentence a Portuguese speaker wrote. English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian are in the box.

Questions about this

Can clients reply to a reminder?

They can reply to the number it came from, and you will see it there — but replies do not come back into RoxRox Salon, and nothing about the booking changes automatically because of one. Treat a reminder as a message out, not a conversation.

What happens if a text fails to send?

The credit goes back. Credits are taken before the carrier is called and returned when a send throws, so a failure costs you nothing — and it fails loudly rather than quietly, so it can be chased.

Can I run reminders on email only?

Yes, and email is not metered. Turn text and WhatsApp off and the reminder still goes out.

See it on your own diary.
